Larry Rose is the trainer of more World Champion reining horses than anyone in N.R.H.A. history and his name is synonymous with the word "champion." His list of accomplishments include being an Open N.R.H.A. Futurity All Time Top 10 Money Earner, N.R.H.A. Derby All Time Top 5 Money Earner, and N.R.H.A. Top 10 All time Open Rider.

As a boy, Larry Rose loved to ride good horses and hated to walk. Not much has changed over the years. Today, he still loves to ride good horses but if he had to own or ride a mediocre one, he says ," I'd rather walk."
